Create a Location

A Location's type, along with which Tasks are assigned to it, are determined by its parent Location Group. At least one Location Group must be created for a functional Project.

Permissions

Your project role must have the Role::Locations::Create permission enabled in order to perform this operation.

1. Navigate to your project's Dashboard:

• In the sidebar navigation, select your project
• Click on Dashboard

• From the Deploy homepage, click on the Dashboard button for your project

2. In the project card , click on the Locations button
3. In the corner of the Locations card , click on the New Location button
4. Give your Location a Name (i.e., 10 Forward)
5. Select the Site for this location
6. Select the Location Group for this Location
7. Click the Submit button

Upon submission, you will be taken to the view page for your new Location where you can see its details, as well as the Tasks assigned to it.
