Create a Task

Tasks are the heart of how Deploy functions. They define the actions which need to be taken in each location and help organize how data is collected.

Permissions

Your project role must have the Role::Tasks/TaskFields::Create permission enabled in order to perform this operation.

  1. Navigate to your project's Tasks page:
  • In the sidebar navigation, select your project
  • Expand the Admin navigation list
  • Click on Tasks
  • From the Deploy homepage, click on the Dashboard button for your project
  • In the top corner of the project card , click on the gear icon button to drop down the Admin Menu
  • Click the Tasks option
  1. In the corner of the Tasks card , click on the New Task button
  2. Give your Task a Name (i.e., Survey IDFs)
  3. In the Group field, select the Location Group you created in the last step
  4. Leave all other fields blank
  5. Click the Submit button
