Select

A Select field type is a field provides a searchable drop-down list of options and allows only one to be selected. For example

But just one

Since the list of choices for this field type are defined within the field config, you must provide them when creating it. In the Choices setting, you must provide a list of options (one on each line).

Tip

To prevent the drop down from having the first choice selected by default, add a blank line as the first choice in Choices.
