Create a Site

A Site must be created before we can create any Locations; every Location in a project must be contained within a parent Site.

Permissions

Your project role must have the Role::Sites::Create permission enabled in order to perform this operation.

  1. Navigate to your project's Sites page:
  • In the sidebar navigation, select your project
  • Click on Sites
  • Navigate to the Deploy homepage
  • Click on the Sites button for your project
  1. In the corner of the Sites card , click on the New Site button
  2. Give your Site a Name (i.e., Deck 10)
  3. Optional Upload one or more Site Maps
    • Click the button in the "Site Maps" area of the form to add a new line for a Site Map
    • Write a text description of the map (i.e.: "1st Floor")
    • Click on the "Browse" button and select the file you want to upload.

      Supported formats are common image formats (JPEG, PNG, etc) as well as PDF documents

  4. Leave other fields blank
  5. Click the Submit button
